Forming a New Chapter

We welcome all applications from amateur-run dance clubs! Be aware that our Constitution does not allow chapters to be under the umbrella of a professional dance organization. While professional dancers may be members, they may not be officers in the chapter. The prospective new chapter must have at least 25 members.

For application forms, email HomeOfficeSecretary@nationalsmoothdancers.org Return the application form in duplicate along with:

• The new chapter's slate of officers
• A copy of its Bylaws
• If incorporated, a copy of the Articles of Incorporation
• The $25 application fee (refundable if not approved)

Applicants can expect to receive any help they may need. The Secretary will process the application within thirty days after it is received.
