On Labor Day weekend, competitors from all over the state compete in
International Standard and Latin, and American Smooth and Rhythm categories.
Four levels, from One- to Four-Star, are also the number of dances in the competitions.
State Champions
are winners of the Four-Star levels.
Winners move up a level, tracked in the
Ineligible Dancers list.

Competitors pay no fees, but for sanctioned contests they must have
been members since the May 15 just previous.
